About

I’m Kendrae Hunter, an interior designer based in Austin, Texas. I graduated in May 2026 from Academy of Art University with a CIDA-accredited BFA in Interior Architecture & Design. Before design, I served five years in the U.S. Army (2015–2020) as a Logistics, Supply and Armor Specialist.
I’m fascinated by how design influences mood, behavior and wellness. I focus on wellness-driven, functional and inspiring residential and commercial spaces that don’t just look beautiful but actively improve the health and welfare of the people who use them. I believe thoughtful design should be accessible to everyone: spaces that nurture connection, support well-being and celebrate individuality.
Whether I’m developing a multisensory biophilic ecosystem for a farm-to-table restaurant or a master suite that blends neoclassical elegance with contemporary living, my goal is to design spaces that are as restorative as they are inspiring. I use biophilic design principles, natural light, organic materials and earthy textures to bring nature and balance into every environment.
As I keep growing in this field, I’m committed to learning, exploring and creating designs that make a positive, lasting impact on people’s lives.
